Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a naturally occurring substance produced in mammalian white blood cells that aids the immune system in dealing with invading microbes.

Purified HOCl, formulated with our specialized technology, is a gentle cleanser that is soothing and non-irritating and is safe on the skin.

What Makes HICC PET® Purified Hypochlorous Acid Technology Special?

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a versatile compound that has been used for over 100 years in the human healthcare field. It was used in World War I to effectively treat battle wounds and was only first reported in veterinary literature in 1916.

Initial formulations produced on the battlefield were unstable because the HOCl would rapidly degrade to less effective components. We've stabilized the compound using innovative technology and provide a purified form of hypochlorous acid without harmful additives.

We also developed the first pet glove wipes infused with hypochlorous acid, and some of our packaging features separate compartments for the liquid and gloves, which can be combined to keep the HOCl in its freshest and most active form.
